Bulk add products to Shopify
Creating dozens of products in the Shopify admin, one at a time, takes hours. ListoMax prepares your listings on your PC and creates them directly in your Shopify store, variants, images and stock included.

How do you add lots of products to Shopify without spending all week on it?
By preparing the listings once in ListoMax, then publishing them through Shopify's official Admin API: a listing, all its variants and its images go out in one operation, with a status for each product.
The product editor
Listing by listing in the Shopify admin. Simple at first, slow as soon as you need to create the options and variants, upload the images and fill in the SEO for every product.
Shopify's CSV import
A spreadsheet in Shopify's exact format, one row per variant. Efficient for large volumes, but a single badly filled column makes entire rows fail.
Publishing through the Admin API
You enter or import your listings in ListoMax, then the software creates them in Shopify through the official Admin API, with a status per product and per store.
ListoMax is Windows software, not an app from the Shopify App Store: nothing is added to your store's theme. It connects with a private app that you create yourself in the Shopify Dev Dashboard.
What ListoMax creates in your Shopify store
| Item | On Shopify |
|---|---|
| Product | Title, description (with the listing's FAQ), tags, brand (vendor), active or draft status |
| Variants | One option per attribute, one variant per combination: SKU, price, stock, EAN code, weight |
| Price | Price including or excluding tax, according to the store's “taxes included” setting; a sale becomes a compare-at price |
| Stock | Quantity recorded at the store's active location |
| Images | Uploaded in full resolution; the first one becomes the main image |
| Collections | Loaded from the store; a collection that does not exist yet is created |
| SEO | Meta title and meta description, product URL |
| Going live | An active product is published on the Online Store sales channel |
Connect Shopify to ListoMax
Create an app
On dev.shopify.com, with your Shopify account: Apps, then Create app, named “ListoMax”. Paste the scopes listed in the help section and release the version.
Install it on your store
Install the app on the store you want to publish to and accept the requested permissions.
Copy the client ID and client secret
They are in the app's Settings. In ListoMax, on the CMS Connections page, choose Shopify, enter the store address (the name before .myshopify.com), the client ID and the secret, then test.
The detailed guide, with the list of scopes to copy, is in the help section: connecting Shopify.
A Shopify store in several languages
The listing is published in the store's primary language. For each other published language of the store, ListoMax sends the translation: title, description, URL handle, meta title and meta description, when the listing contains them.
Selling products in several colours? The Series feature creates one Shopify listing per value from a single form. Also running a PrestaShop or WooCommerce store? The same product goes to PrestaShop and WooCommerce at the same time: see how to publish to multiple stores.
Your questions, answered
Is ListoMax an app from the Shopify App Store?
No. It is Windows software installed on your PC. You create a private app yourself on dev.shopify.com, install it on your store, and ListoMax publishes through Shopify's official Admin API using its client ID and client secret.
Why a client ID and client secret rather than a token?
Since 2026, Shopify no longer issues “shpat_” tokens to new apps. ListoMax obtains a temporary token itself using the client ID and secret, and renews it on its own. A store that already has an older app with a token can paste it into the optional field.
Are Shopify variants supported?
Yes. Each attribute becomes a product option (colour, size…) and each combination a variant, with its own SKU, price, stock and EAN code.
Does my product appear in the online store?
Yes, if it is published as active: ListoMax makes it available on the Online Store sales channel. As a draft, it stays invisible to your customers.
Can I publish to Shopify, PrestaShop and WooCommerce at the same time?
Yes. Tick the destination stores and the same listing goes to each of them in a single operation.
